1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using WutheringAI ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. These Terms apply to all users of the App.

2. Age Requirement

You must be at least 17 years old to use WutheringAI. The App contains mature romantic and gothic narrative content. By using the App, you confirm that you are 17 years of age or older. We reserve the right to terminate access for users who misrepresent their age.

3. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on Apple-branded devices you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or sublicense any part of the App.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

WutheringAI offers auto-renewable subscriptions that unlock premium content and features.

Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID and are subject to Apple's payment terms.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
To cancel, go to Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions on your iPhone and cancel WutheringAI. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period.
Refunds are handled by Apple per Apple's refund policy. We do not process refunds directly. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
Subscription prices may vary by region and are displayed in the App prior to purchase.

5. Content Policy

WutheringAI provides AI-generated fictional characters for narrative entertainment. All characters are entirely fictional and not based on real individuals.

Users may customize content preferences via the Soul Pact feature within each character's profile.
Certain content limits are always enforced regardless of user settings, including but not limited to: content involving minors in any sexual or harmful context, instructions for real-world violence or self-harm, and any content that violates applicable law.
AI responses are generated for entertainment purposes only. They do not constitute professional advice of any kind, including medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice.
The characters and narratives in WutheringAI are fictional. Any resemblance to real persons, living or dead, is coincidental.

6. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

Use the App if you are under 17 years of age.
Attempt to extract, reproduce, or distribute harmful, illegal, or offensive content.
Use the App for any commercial purpose without our express written consent.
Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise circumvent the App's security measures.
Use automated means to access or interact with the App.
Violate any applicable local, national, or international law in connection with your use of the App.

7. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WutheringAI makes no representations about the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of AI-generated content.

The AI characters in this App are fictional companions for entertainment. They are not a substitute for real human relationships, professional mental health support, or any form of licensed counseling or therapy. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a qualified mental health professional or a crisis helpline in your country.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, WutheringAI and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App.

9. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, characters, lorebook content, user interface, and all associated materials, is the proprietary property of WutheringAI and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights in the App's intellectual property other than the limited license described in Section 3.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Norway. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Oslo, Norway. Our registered address is: Operagata 33, Oslo, Norway.
